ARTISTE/PROMOTER/RECORD LABEL.
When you create an account and automatically you become a member. However, you can request to be an ‘Artiste’ if and only if you are eligible to be an Artist, Promoter or even a Record Label. Our systems would conduct verification to confirm your credibility. You are automatically rewarded with 8MB storage space to market your audio content. You can always request for more storage space at anytime.
MONETISING
First of all, you must earn all the rights to your music and must be producing original content. You must own 100% of the rights.
You can choose to stream your song for free or you price them to your followers/users. When visitors patronise your content, you automatically gain some revenue, which reflects in your Grino Wallet. It is advisable that, you subscribe to our Ads System where you benefit per click.
You can make withdrawals via your Mobile Money account or bank in accordance with our withdrawal policy. It is permissible to use your Wallet to purchase our Ads packages too.
GRINO WALLET
TheGrino Wallet is virtually your financial account on the Grino platform. As a user, you can top up your wallet from your mobile money or bank so that you can easily purchase content or create an ad on the Grino Music website: www.grinomusic.com
As an Artist, your proceeds reflect in your Grino Wallet. It is advisable to use it for Ads subscription in order to reach out to a wider audience.
PAYMENT METHOD
Payment Processes & issues. Anytime you are doing payment on Grino-Music website, don’t forget to read the payment instructions very well. All Mo-Mo payment is live check and confirm. This is what happens.
a. When you initiate a payment, it will redirect you to the payment gateway processor, over there, you will see mobile money as the default payment option, but you can change it to card, where you can pay with your Visa Card or other Bankcards.
b. For Mo-Mo payment, after choosing your preferred operator and entering your phone number, please carefully read the instructions. Don’t ignore it, or cancel or close that instructions screen.
Note: What actually happens is that, the system will need your payment approval from your phone in order to use it to process your payment and after confirmation of your payment, redirect you to your Grino account with your transaction. When you ignore or close that instruction sections, your cash will be taken from your MOMO account and deposited into your Grino Music account. However, your account can’t be credited on the Grino Music website. We might have to do a manual confirmation of your transaction.
All the Mobile Money service providers have a way of how their system works. So any operator you chose, you will get its appropriate instructions on how the payment is done.
UPLOADS
You must earn all the rights to your music and must be producing original content. You must own 100% of the rights (publishing, master, distribution). Before you can upload, You Must:
- Make sure your track size is not beyond the default track size by the system, which is 8MB maximum for your trial.
- Make sure the upload progress bar is checked
